This special Geocoin was created by celebrated designer and our very own Roxxy. Here are some thoughts from her about the design:
The design for this year’s Lackey Coin was inspired by the armillary sphere, a model of celestial longitude and latitude. This design was chosen to represent HQ’s place in something far greater—the game of geocaching!—as well as acknowledging that each Lackey contributes to the solar system that is HQ.
The accompanying quote by author, architect, and inventor, R. Buckminster Fuller, was chosen to represent the accidental discoveries made while geocaching, be it YAPIDKA, a new friend…or even finding out the next stage of the multi is back the other way.
